Watercolours

 

On very thin rice paper I lay the foundation for my watercolours.

 

One colour at a time is first added on a glass plate and then to the paper

 

till I get the right colour composition.

 

The figures arise from the paper, either people, animals or objects.

 

Then I draw with ink by using a pen-holder and nib.

 

The picture is created step by step and many details are added at the end.

 

My watercolours contain an amazing richness of figures and forms.

 

 

The people I create are people on search who finally find their place.
